About this course

An opportunity to develop your practice in Hand Built ceramics. You'll be free to slab roll, coil and pinch. The art room also has various moulds and items that can be used to support your creations and we’ll be decorating with patterned materials and using stamps and cutters, followed by underglaze and glaze methods to decorate before a final firing.

About your tutor

Alex Smith is a London based designer. He has led workshops for over 10 years in Ceramics Design and animation. His distinctive tableware and ceramic planters feature in the books “Wander at Home” and “Propagate!”Course Dates
