The community hub is committed to providing low cost inclusive courses, classes and groups for all. This means that there are mixed ability participants with different paces of learning. We expect participants to be supportive of this ethos and adhere to our code of conduct.
The community hub offers:
- Drop in classes
Whether you are interested in learning new skills, developing existing ones or participating in a group you will find a programme to challenge, inspire and engage you.
We run three termly programmes during the year. Our termly programme timetable includes courses and groups such as:
- Creative arts and crafts: including Ceramics, Painting and Drawing as well as Plant and Herbal Craft
- Health: yoga drop in classes, Chi Kung,
- Therapeutic Groups: women’s art group, Drama Therapy and Personal Development Group.
- Mindfulness, Indian Head Massage.

How to book?
Workshops are usually weekly sessions and are on a drop in basis.
Courses usually run from 5-12 weeks with advanced booking required. Simply fill in a Sign-up Course Form and return via email. Full payment and a completed sign up form will be required to secure your place.
Interested in running a course or workshop?
If you would like to collaborate with the Centre for Better Health in delivering quality, affordable courses or workshops to the community, whether on a volunteer basis or with a view to renting space or using the facilities, we are looking to develop partnerships to achieve this.
