We are pleased to announce this 8-Week Therapeutic Workshop at The Centre for Better Health with Mindfulness Trainer Luka Hadrych.

These will run on Tuesdays between 11.00am and 1.00pm, starting on 25th September 2012.

The course is suitable for people who have previously suffered from depression but are currently well or in remission. It is also suitable for people who have a history of battling other low mood related issues such as stress, anxiety and low self-esteem.

The course consists of experiential exercises and practices that will help you to:
.
- become familiar with the workings of your mind,
- notice the times when you are at risk of getting caught in old habits of mind that re-activate downward mood spirals,
- explore ways of releasing yourself from those old habits,
- put you in touch with a different way of knowing yourself the world,
- notice small beauties and pleasures in the world around you instead of living in your head,
- be kind to yourself instead of wishing things were different all the time,
- to accept yourself as you are, rather than be critical and judging yourself.

The fee for the course is £150 and includes hand-outs and CDs with guided mindfulness practices.

However, if you pay before 30th August the fee will be reduced to £125.
