Volunteers give their time freely to The Centre For Better Health and make a real difference to the quality of service we are able to offer.
We value the dedication and commitment of all our volunteers and couldn’t provide our range and mix of services without them. We also aim for these volunteering experiences to meet an individual’s own personal goals.
We run our affordable counselling service with a team of committed volunteer counsellors. In order to apply for a volunteer counsellor position, you must be enrolled on a recognised Diploma Counselling Course. While we welcome applications from novice counsellors with relevant life experience, we prioritise applications from counsellors with a minimum of 50 client hours, or who have qualified and are interested in gaining client hours for accreditation.
